Born in February 1960 at Tyldesley, Manchester, currently Playing the stunning KORG Keyboard products. Over the Last 19 years Pete has worked for various organ and Keyboard Companies demonstrating their latest products at Organ/Keyboard festivals around the UK, He is currently UK demonstrator for KORG PA series products and regularly appears at most of the major events with them throughout the UK!
Featured artist for this month is Jeanie Barton. Jeannie is a superb interpreter of the jazz standard repertoire giving each song a smooth convincing delivery and occasionally introducing a scat vocal line. She produces a personal style based on a thorough understanding of the jazz singing tradition.
The super Bob Hudson trio provides a swinging accompaniment so expect a night of toe tapping finger snapping jazz.
Beat The Drum is a professional tribute band, playing homage to the Scottish Celtic Rock band ‘Runrig’.

Choro is instrumental Brazilian music full of syncopation, counterpoint & improvisation. Huw’s piano led quartet has percussion, bass and flute in the tradition of Choro. His innovative jazz interpretations of this popular Latin music genre bring Choro to the attention of new audiences.

Bossa Nova jazz on the 1962 Verve album ‘Jazz Samba’ featured the sultry tenor sax of Stan Getz with guitar legend and arranger Charlie Byrd. This band, led by Nigel Price (guitar) and Mark Crooks (sax), captures the essence of their bossa nova jazz, that included Carlos Jobim’s memorable tunes Desafinado & One Note Samba.
