This play comes from a true source and it is telling a story that has been inspired by real life.
Over the course of five years, playwright Gary McNair spoke to people at all stages and in all walks of life on the subject of regret. This play marks the results of those conversations. It is a collection of scenes from the silly to the profound, that charts our relationship with the things we should have done but didn’t and the things we shouldn’t have done but did.
Flying High Young Company will be performing ‘No Regrets’ at Derby Theatre on Saturday 3rd May as part of the project and has been invited to perform their play at the National Theatre twice in the past – 2012 and 2023. They have been working on this play since September 2024.
